As a not-for-profit community sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church of Columbia, SC, we embrace a resident-centered philosophy that encourages spiritual, social, emotional, and physical well-being. Working hand-in-hand with Banyan Senior Living of Greenville, SC, our mission is to provide continuing lifestyle options and caring services that enhance the quality of life for our senior adults. The mission of Laurel Crest is to provide a lifestyle that enhances the quality of life for each person. We continually strive to create an independent and secure living environment that encourages enriching and fulfilling lives through the practice of self-determination. All accommodations, programs, and services are designed and provided with the needs of senior adults and their loved ones in mind. We endeavor to nourish the human spirit and preserve personal dignity by addressing the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical needs of each resident—the whole person. Goals, policies, and operating procedures are based on a resident-centered philosophy. We believe that each person is special, a unique being. For this reason, each resident is worthy of the best opportunity to live life to the fullest.
