Laurel Crest, a life plan community, is seeking a Full-time Housekeeping Supervisor that is a hospitality minded professional looking for a rewarding experience working with older adults. The Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Schedule housekeepers in various parts of the community. Ensure all housekeeper shifts are covered, handling call outs, PTO, etc. Fill in any area left vacant due to assigned housekeeper’s absence. Inspect all department work efforts to ensure completion of duties. Participate in the interview process of potential housekeepers. Train all new housekeepers and provide proper guidance to ensure success. Rotate weekend shift in laundry monthly or as needed. Ensure Resident’s Rights are protected and maintained at all times. Maintain infection control standards and regulatory compliance for areas overseen by State and/or Federal government. Complete reports and records as required promptly and accurately. Minimum requirements for this position are: High school diploma or GED, 2 years of supervisory experience in Housekeeping and a valid SC driver’s license.
Certified Nursing Assistants
Laurel Crest is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants that are hospitality minded professionals looking for a rewarding experience working with senior adults. CNA assists the nursing staff by performing duties to support residents with activities of daily living. The C.N.A. performs all duties in a manner that is responsive to the needs of the residents and employees, promotes operating efficiency, and assures compliance with facility operating policies and procedures and Federal, State and Local Laws. The ideal candidate must complete resident notes in the computerized system daily. Requirements: Licensed as a C.N.A.in SC, CPR Certified, Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
The Maintenance Tech is responsible for performing, coordinating, and supervising various aspects of general and preventive maintenance to protect and maintain buildings, equipment, utility and electrical systems. Must be able to troubleshoot fire alarm and sprinkler systems and respond to emergency calls. Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair various plumbing problems to include toilet plunging, snaking, or replacements of plumbing parts, piping, etc.as well as troubleshoot cause of electrical and appliance problems and make basic repairs such as resetting breakers and GFCI receptacles, changing out receptacles, lighting, fans, stoves, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, disposals, etc. Must be able to troubleshoot air conditioning systems and diagnosis of problems and changing of filters, cleaning coils, etc. Maintain tools and equipment. Move and assemble furniture. Sheet rock repair and painting. Setup landscape irrigation systems. Minimum requirements for this position are: High school diploma or GED with trade school background needed. Valid South Carolina Driver’s license with a good driving record. 1 year of experience in maintenance at commercial facilities, school system, apartment complexes, or hotels in all disciplines such as plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, refrigeration, ground maintenance, masonry and general maintenance. Reasonable computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. HVAC Universal certification a plus.
PRN Speech-Language Pathologist
The Speech-Language Pathologist shall plan and implement specific speech therapy treatment programs for residents in a variety of settings according to accepted Speech-Language Pathology practices and principles and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Vital Living Companions
We are looking for compassionate Companions to partner with us in developing our Home Care Services to be dedicated in providing excellent care to our residents within our Community. This position is PRN (as needed) and the hours will vary from day to day. Responsibilities of this position will include: Companionship, Medication Reminders, Personal Care, Light Housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Assistance with Errands and Transportation to Appointments. Minimum job requirements are High School Diploma or GED, Valid South Carolina Driver’s License, and Senior Adult Caregiving Experience.
We are seeking a Part-time Utility Worker/Dishwasher that is hospitality minded and looking for a rewarding experience working with senior adults. The Utility Worker is responsible for performing a number of kitchen duties including, but not limited to, pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies. This position also cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures for all assigned areas to include the chemical room, storage room and all related areas. Responsible for sweeping, mopping assigned areas and emptying trash containers.
Medication Technician (Med-Tech)
The Med Tech assists with the administration of medications under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Assists licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living. The ideal candidate will have successfully completed a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior experience as a Med Tech in a senior living setting is preferred.We are looking for a full time 11p-7a FLOATER position and work on all the units.
Laurel Crest, a life plan community, is seeking a Housekeeping Specialist that is looking for a rewarding experience working with senior adults. This role will be responsible for maintaining a clean and presentable appearance of our community. Successful candidates must be hospitable, detail oriented, and passionate. Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
