Certified Nursing Assistants- Full Time Sign on Bonus!

Laurel Crest is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants that are hospitality minded professionals looking for a rewarding experience working with senior adults. CNA assists the nursing staff by performing duties to support residents with activities of daily living. The C.N.A. performs all duties in a manner that is responsive to the needs of the residents and employees, promotes operating efficiency, and assures compliance with facility operating policies and procedures and Federal, State and Local Laws. The ideal candidate must complete resident notes in the computerized system daily. Requirements: Licensed as a C.N.A.in SC, CPR Certified, Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.

PRN Speech-Language Pathologist 

The Speech-Language Pathologist shall plan and implement specific speech therapy treatment programs for residents in a variety of settings according to accepted Speech-Language Pathology practices and principles and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Vital Living Companions

We are looking for compassionate Companions to partner with us in developing our Home Care Services to be dedicated in providing excellent care to our residents within our Community. This position is PRN (as needed) and the hours will vary from day to day. Responsibilities of this position will include: Companionship, Medication Reminders, Personal Care, Light Housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Assistance with Errands and Transportation to Appointments. Minimum job requirements are High School Diploma or GED, Valid South Carolina Driver’s License, and Senior Adult Caregiving Experience.

Utility Worker- Full Time Sign on Bonus!

We are seeking a Full-Time Utility Worker/Dishwasher that is hospitality minded and looking for a rewarding experience working with senior adults. The Utility Worker is responsible for performing a number of kitchen duties including, but not limited to, pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies. This position also cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures for all assigned areas to include the chemical room, storage room and all related areas. Responsible for sweeping, mopping assigned areas and emptying trash containers.

Medication Technician (Med-Tech)- Full Time Sign on Bonus!

The Med Tech assists with the administration of medications under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Assists licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living. The ideal candidate will have successfully completed a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior experience as a Med Tech in a senior living setting is preferred.

Housekeeping Specialist- Full Time Sign on Bonus!

Laurel Crest, a life plan community, is seeking a Housekeeping Specialist that is looking for a rewarding experience working with senior adults. This role will be responsible for maintaining a clean and presentable appearance of our community.  Successful candidates must be hospitable, detail oriented, and passionate. Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse – Part Time 7PM-7AM

The LPN Staff/Charge Nurse is responsible for the nursing care and service on assigned shift, including accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation and emergency calls.

Other duties include but are not limited to the following: Assist the care plan team as directed by the Director of Nursing (DON), with the preparation, implementation, review and updating of resident assessments and care plans. Give and receive shift reports. Round periodically throughout shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment. Keep physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition. Schedule and assign residents to nursing staff during shift and on units; giving each staff member specific duties to be performed and follow- up on work assignments to ensure completion. Minimum requirements for this position are a valid SC Nursing license and CPR certification. Experience in long term care and electronic medical records is preferred. Shift differential is offered. Excellent staff to resident ratio!

Wait Staff/Dietary Aide

Laurel Crest Retirement Community is seeking full-time Wait Staff that are hospitality minded professionals looking for a rewarding experience working with older adults. You will be the face of our dining room and be responsible for our resident’s experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to have a polite and friendly attitude. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service. Previous experience waiting tables at a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred.

Cook

Laurel Crest Retirement Community is looking for Cooks to prepare meals for our residents, guests and staff in a Fine Dining Setting. Responsibilities are: Prepare food according to menu and special dietary needs. Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. Knowledge of cooking procedures (grilling, boiling, etc.)Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping, peeling vegetables, etc.) Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served. Preform kitchen sanitation programs for daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules. Daily Monitor hot and cold temperature logs. Ensure food and other items are properly stored. Must be able to lift 30 pounds
