Director of Nursing 

Laurel Crest, a life plan community, is seeking a full-time Director of Nursing (DON) that is looking for a rewarding experience working with older adults. Successful candidates must have a track record of measurable results and knowledge of the clinical and regulatory aspects of delivering skilled nursing services.

The duties for this unique role include, but not limited to, the following:

· Direction, Leadership, and Supervision of a 12 bed skilled unit while influencing the entire continuum of care.

· Daily clinical and resident hands on care coupled with administrative duties.

· Recruit and hire staff, as well as, monitor staff performance.

· Manage and perform the employee health services for all staff including TB screening, new hire physicals and drug screens..

The ideal candidate will be licensed as an RN in the state of South Carolina, have a CPR Certification and 2 years of clinical supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, plus possess strong management and computer skills

LPN Staff Nurse

 (2FT 7p-7a & 1PT 7p-7a)

This position is responsible for the overall nursing care/service on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation and emergency calls, as indicated. This includes assisting the care plan team as directed by the Director of Nursing (DON) and giving and receiving shift reports. Rounds periodically throughout shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment. Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition. Schedules and assigns residents to all nursing attendants during your shift and on your units; Give each attendant specific directive as to the duties to be performed; Follow- up on their work assignments to assure proper completion Prior experience in long term care and electronic medical records is a plus. Shift differential offered. The Staff/Charge Nurse will have current state licensure as a LPN and CPR certification. (Sign on Bonus structure for FT positions)

PRN Vital Living Companions

Employee assists in providing life activities of residents to include: personal care, household management, activities, serving meals, assisting with feeding, and restorative care to our residents. Prior experience as a Med Tech and/or CNA in a senior living setting is preferred. Shift differential offered.

Skilled Nursing C.N.A.

4 PT 16 Hours Every other weekend (various shifts)

CNA performs duties to support residents with activities of daily living. Must have successfully completed a SC state approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Must have current CPR certification. Shift differential offered.

Med Tech

 (FT 3-11, 1 in Assisted)

4 PT 16 Hours Every other weekend (various shifts in Assisted Living & Memory Support)

Med Tech administers medications under the direct supervision of a nurse and performs duties to assist residents with activities of daily living. Prior experience as a Med Tech in a senior living setting is preferred. Shift differential offered. Sign on Bonus structure available for FT positions.

Temporary Full Time Community Patrol Officer 

The Community Patrol Officer is responsible for making scheduled rounds both inside and outside of the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property, as well as, guests, staff and company property.  Verifying buildings are locked and secured as directed by the supervisor. Maintaining logs and records of all non-resident entries and timely reporting of unusual occurrences that occur on the property.  Taking the lead role in responding to emergency situations whether they are security violations, medical, or fire emergencies. Performing light maintenance such as plunging toilets, changing light bulbs, checking fire extinguishers, changing smoke detector batteries. Assisting residents with basic instructions on the operation of TV’s and other electronic equipment, air conditioning controls as well as assisting residents needing help with baggage, groceries, deliveries, etc. Successful candidates will maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, and staff and protect community property. The hours are from 8 pm – 8am.

 Full Time Wait Staff

The position will be responsible for table service in the Community dining rooms.  Previous experience waiting tables at a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred.

Cook – Full Time

The Cook prepares or directs the preparation of all food served by following standard recipes and special diet orders. The Cook performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned to include, but not limited to, kitchen sanitation programs for daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and the daily monitoring of all hot and cold temperature logs.

Maintenance Technician- Full Time

The Maintenance Tech is responsible for performing, coordinating, and supervising various aspects of general and preventive maintenance to protect and maintain buildings, equipment, utility and electrical systems. Must be able to troubleshoot fire alarm and sprinkler systems and respond to emergency calls. Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair various plumbing problems to include toilet plunging, snaking, or replacements of plumbing parts, piping, etc.as well as troubleshoot cause of electrical and appliance problems and make basic repairs such as resetting breakers and GFCI receptacles, changing out receptacles, lighting, fans, stoves, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, disposals, etc. Must be able to troubleshoot air conditioning systems and diagnosis of problems and changing of filters, cleaning coils, etc. Maintain tools and equipment. Move and assemble furniture.

Housekeeping Specialist – Full Time

The Housekeeping Specialist is responsible for maintaining the clean and presentable appearance of our community, including our Health Center.  Successful candidates must be warm, respectful, detail oriented, and passionate about their work. The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience but not required.

Keep in mind – There is a Referral bonus program available that applies to any new hire that is not a relative. The new hire must list you as a referral on the application.
